Once you’re armed with all the information you’ll need, the job of purchasing your new spa relaxation space is more enjoyable. Think about the times that you, your family and friends will be able to enjoy your new hot tub. So the main question is why are you buying the hot tub? Is it for therapy, just relaxing after a hard days work or is it for entertaining family and friends? Of course these are the simple questions to get you thinking about your hot tub space. So are you looking for a spa with low to no daily/weekly maintenance? Are you looking for the best price? Are you looking for the best guaranteed spa? Are you looking for a specific style hot tub or certain spa features? What hot tub features are you willing to give up if the price is right? While hot tub shopping around these are things you need to ask yourself. There are few things that are very important to look for when deciding on a spa. One, spa water management systems. This determines the amount of spa chemicals you will use annually and the care involved with the spa on a daily/weekly basis. Two, Construction and Engineering. This determines how long the hot tub will last. Each spa manufacturer designs their tubs differently and this also determines their cost. So beware of hot tubs that are presented as equals that cost substantially different than each other. Three, bells and whistles. These are usually things such as cabinet and shell colors, perimeter lighting packages, waterfalls, stereo systems, surround packages, gazebo’s, bars and even televisions. Some of these are really nice and some are a bit ridiculous. Of course, as they say, different strokes for different folks. Planning ahead makes buying less complicated! |
